Increasing sponsorship income year on year across Army Sport.
Mongoose have been retained by the ASCB since early 2019, initially helping to evaluate, restructure and create a new sponsorship model. More recently we have taken this model to market and introduced defence and non-defence companies to the newly created opportunities that are available within Army Sport.
Once we had completed the consultancy period, we began to engage with defence and non-defence organisations to introduce the benefits of partnering with Army Sport and ensuring that sport can be played from grassroots to the elite level, throughout the Army. Utilising the assets that we created within Army Sport, we have been able to marry up sponsorship of an individual sport with the wider Army. Thus increasing and expanding the sponsorship income and sports that receive sponsorship
Over the last five and a half years we have significantly increased sponsorship income year on year across Army Sport. We have also increased the number of non-endemic companies who are now sponsoring Army Sport. In our time with Army Sport we have now raised over £3.4m with 60+ companies sponsoring sports in the Army
